We operate by Faith: Romans 12:3 For I say, through the grace given unto me, to every man that is among you, not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think; but to think soberly, according as God has dealt to every man the measure of faith. 2 Corinthians 5:7 (For we walk by faith, not by sight:) God's love for us is unconditional: Romans 8:28 And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose. 1 John 4:19 We love him, because he first loved us. The church should be a place for people to come and be real Receiving people for who they are. Goodness of God leads people to repentance: Romans 2:4 Or despise you the riches of his goodness and forbearance and longsuffering; not knowing that the goodness of God leads you to repentance? All things are working in our favor: Romans 8:28 And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose. We are to have great character: Galatians 5:22-23 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, Meekness, self-control: against such there is no law. 2 Peter 1:3-4 According as his divine power has given unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of him who has called us to glory and virtue: By which are given unto us exceedingly great and precious promises: that by these you might be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust. - our desire is to become a people who walk in character. God has plans to bless us: Jeremiah 29:11 For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the LORD, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end. Deuteronomy 28:6 Blessed shall you be when you come in, and blessed shall you be when you go out. Signs and wonders follow us: Mark 16:17 And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out demons; they shall speak with new tongues; We are called to destroy the works of the devil: 1 John 3:8 He that commits sin is of the devil; for the devil sins from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil. We expect to experience God: Matthew 13:19 When any one hears the word of the kingdom, and understands it not, then comes the wicked one, and catches away that which was sown in his heart.
